4.1. Text
Text files are a common format for data storage and exchange, with various file formats and input types. The platform supports text files with TXT, PDF, or DOCX file extensions for input, used to store plain text data.
- TXT files, plain text files, do not contain any formatting information (such as fonts, colors, paragraph styles, etc.). This file format is simple and lightweight, suitable for storing and transmitting plain text data.
- PDF files, Portable Document Format.
- DOCX files, Microsoft Word document format, based on the Office Open XML standard.
Databases can input text files, and a large number of text files can also be input into the repositories' libraries.
